Current Beauty Obsessions + Giveaway
I really want to share with you guys some beauty products I've recently started using that I've fallen in love with. I've been expanding my horizons when it comes to beauty and makeup products and man, there are so many great things out there! I do lots of research before I purchase anything though, to make sure I am getting a good product that works. What beauty products do you guys love? I'm always looking for more products to try!
**PLUS I'm doing a giveaway for some beauty samples that include a few products I love below. All products you will receive are listed below, as well as rules and how to enter. Good luck!
NARS Creamy Concealer
I have pretty dark undereye circles (thanks, genetics) and a lot of concealers just haven't worked for me. When I tried NARS creamy concealer I was hooked. It covers well and lasts long. The best part is it doesn't feel like I'm wearing anything at all. It works on blemishes and red or dark spots as well. A must have! Buy it here.
Benefit The POREfessional Face Primer
It took me a while to love this product. I thought it didn't work at first, and then realized I wasn't applying it correctly. You need to press it into your pores before just rubbing it on. I would put it on like I would a typical primer but that doesn't get it into your pores. While it doesn't erase my pores completely it blurs them and reduces them in size. Buy it here.
May Coop Raw Sauce
I stumbled upon this product accidentally. I was drawn in by the pretty packaging and it was the only one left. But holy cow, is this stuff amazing. I've never had softer skin. It a Korean product that has maple tree sap as part of the base (it doesn't feel like it, trust me), and it's so silky and absorbs quickly. I use it after cleansing and exfoliating my face, but before moisturizing. If there's one thing to try on this list, it's this. Buy it here.
Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy Perfume
This is my favorite scent basically ever. I love getting samples to try different scents, and I always just go back to this one. I haven't made it into a "signature scent" or anything as I still like to mix it up (Kate Spade's Live Colorfully is also a top contender), but is the best in my opinion. Buy it here.
Urban Decay Primer Potion
I'm not sure how I ever lived without this before. I have crease-y eyelids so before it reaches the end of the day I usually have wiped off my eyeshadow because it gets so caked and creased. I heard about this primer potion and was amazed when I tried it. You apply it to your eyelids with an applicator that reminds me of lipgloss, and I'll let it sit for a minute or two before applying eyeshadow. I don't have to apply as much eyeshadow with this and it lasts all day. Honestly a win-win. Buy it here.
Amazing Cosmetics Brow Powder
This is the best brow powder I've found for my brows in particular. I have light, undefined eyebrows naturally. But I really love the natural blonde color and the staying power of this powder. Other powders I've tried have been too orange-y for me, but this is the one that works the best and stays the longest. Buy it here.
IT Makeup Brushes
I really like these brushes for a few reasons: they're high quality, they're cheap, and they work. All brushes are made from real hair and from the amount of time I've had and used them, they have held up great. Each brush individually is from about $15-25, but you can get sets of essential brushes for $30-$60. While this is not the cheapest brush brand you can get, I really think they are priced great for the quality. Buy them here.
Benefit They're Real! Mascara
This mascara is kind of awesome. With just one coat my lashes are thicker, curlier, and longer (and obviously darker - mine are blonde). I don't like to use it on my bottom lashes because my eyes are so watery. I just use a drugstore waterproof mascara on the bottom so it doesn't smudge. But there is a definite difference in my lashes when I use this as opposed to any other mascara. Buy it here.
