Current Obsessions: Hair Products
I have been really loving some new hair products lately that I wanted to share with you all! Have you used any of these products before? Any new products I need to try? I'd love to hear some suggestions!
Christophe Robin Cleansing Purifying Scrub - This stuff is amazing. It's odd at first because it's a scrub, but it emulsifies and "lathers" to get your scalp and hair really clean. It also helps rebalance your scalp and gets rid of itchiness and excess products. I use it about once a week as a deep cleaner. If there were anything for you to try on this list, this would be it.
Amika Nourishing Mask - Even if this didn't do anything, I'd still buy it for the smell alone. It's fantastic! I always use this hand-in-hand with the Christophe Robin as that is pretty drying. It helps bring my hair back to life and it's always so soft and light afterwards!
Sephora Wide Tooth Comb - Is it bad that I have never been a comb user until recently? I would brush my hair before I shower and that's it. It doesn't really get tangly so I don't feel the need to. But combs are just gentler on the hair and much better for it. This one is only $8 and works well!
Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray - I have been a loyal fan of the Apres Beach spray for a while, and have recently fallen in love with its cousin, the Dry Texturizing spray. It's great for those messy bun days or to give your curls some texture. A must have!
Oribe Gold Lust Masque - After using this mask, I've never had softer hair! It's definitely on the pricier side, but I use it as a "special occasion" product more - only when my hair really needs some extra moisture.
R + Co Pomade Mousse - This mousse is awesome - no crunchiness or stickiness and great hold. I like to use it on my hair when it's damp and let it air dry for some extra texture and waves. Plus it adds some great volume! My hair is very thick so it weighs down my roots easily, and this has been great for that.
Ouai Hair Oil - Again, another great product. It helps to calm frizz and split ends and you can use it with wet or dry hair. I will use it on my ends when my hair is getting ratty, or one pump to smooth out frizz on those humid days. I'm looking forward to trying more Ouai products!
