My Favorite Exfoliators
Exfoliating is one of the best things you can do for your skin. Not only does it help your skin feel smooth, but it makes it healthier. By removing dead skin cells, your products can penetrate more deeply into the skin and lead to cleaner, fresher skin. If you don't regularly exfoliate it can lead to excess oil and clogged pores, as well as dry, cracked skin. The products listed here are my favorite way to get smooth, glowing skin.
Bath + Body Works Fresh Foaming Body Buff
I have been using this exfoliator since high school and it is still one of my favorites. It's a scrub that lathers while you use it so you feel extra clean. I use it about every other day to get rid of dead skin cells. It's gentle, yet effective. Plus, it's cheap! Win-win-win. Get it here.
Herbivore Coco Rose Body Polish
Holy moly I never knew what soft skin was until I used this guy. The first time I used it, I may have gotten weird looks from just rubbing my arms all day, but they were crazy smooth I couldn't help it! On top of giving me the smoothest skin of my life, it smells amazing. The price is pretty reasonable at $36 for 8 oz, and I don't use it every day so I know I'll get a lot of mileage out of it. Christophe Robin Cleansing Purifying Scrub
What? An exfoliator for your scalp? Yeah, I honestly didn't know that was a thing until a few months ago. Now I'm obsessed. I don't get dandruff an excessive amount, but every once in a while (especially when the air is dry in winter) my scalp needs a little TLC. Even if I don't have dandruff, it really helps to clean your hair and scalp when it's full of products (hellllllo 4 days of dry shampoo). A must-have! Get it here.
Derma E Microdermabrasion Scrub
This stuff is by far my favorite face exfoliator. I have tried the microdermabrasion scrub by Dr. Brandt that has been raved about, and in my opinion this is better. It's the same amount of product for less than half the price, they both smell the same, feel the same, and I've liked how my skin feels more when I use the Derma E version. Get it here.
