Black Friday Beauty Picks
As I was packing for our last trip, one thing I realized is that I have a severe lack of travel beauty. I have so many full-sized items and that's just not practical for traveling. So I have vowed to look for travel beauty during the sales this week! Of course, I may pick up a few other things, but I have a plan! My experience with Black Friday and beauty is that they typically don't go on major sale, but it doesn't hurt to hope! Read on to see what my picks are (from Fenty beauty to silk pillowcases)! Forea LUNA Mini 2
I have been wanting to try the LUNA for some time now. I love my Clarisonic, but have heard great things about the LUNA and wanted to compare for myself! The Mini 2 is perfect for travel (more so than my Clarisonic) and I love the color options! The original LUNA Mini is also still available, for those of you with a tighter budget (it's about a $40 difference). This would also make a great gift - everyone washes their face (or should) so you would know they'd use it!
Bite Beauty The Perfect Bite Amuse Bouche Lipstick Set
I like to try new lipstick colors, but I have never even come close to finishing a full lipstick before. With this mini set, you get smaller "portions" of each lipstick, but you get more colors to try! Plus, it comes in an adorable travel case and is less than $20! It's a great gift idea, for those lipstick-loving ladies in your life! Lipstick not your thing? I love this equivalently adorable lip balm set!
Caudalie Mini Beauty Elixir
Ahh, another mini. I did say I need travel items, didn't I? But this is a must. The Caudalie Beauty Elixir has quickly become one of my favorite parts of my beauty routine. I love how it sets my makeup, and my routine never feels complete without it. The fact that this comes in mini may prove to be dangerous for me, as I may need to get one for work. And my car. And my purse. And home... You get the idea - this stuff's good!
Sephora Collection Ready in 5 Eye Brush Set
If there's one type of makeup brush I'm always on the hunt for, it's an eye brush. They're the ones I use the most due to the different colors I use, and sometimes I don't have enough to cover all the shades I've been using. In comes this eye brush set... I love the various pink shades of the handles and the travel pouch they come in, and my experience with Sephora brushes has been positive thus far. The price is even better at only $20!
Arcona Triad Toner Pads
I have been using Arcona's toner for a while now (read my review here) and am loving it!! However, the full bottle is not easy to travel with, so getting the pads would be much easier to pack. They come individually packaged if you buy the set of 10; designed specifically for on-the-go! Though, I imagine the container might be easy to pack if it's relatively small. We'll see!
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette
This is a palette I've been dying to try, but never wanted to shell out the price for. $62 for highlighter? Yeah, no thanks. But I'm crossing my fingers for a sale!! If there's one part of contouring I do every day, it's highlighting. It makes me look more awake and my skin glows! I love the different shades of highlight in this palette, and am so excited to see what it can do! Have any of you used it? What are your thoughts?
Laneige Water Sleeping Mask
I became intrigued by this mask recently - I have heard so many rave reviews about how moisturizing and softening it is! I have tried their lip sleeping mask before and love that, so why not this? tarte Buried Treasure Eyeshadow Palette
This quite honestly could be the prettiest palette I've ever seen (this one rivals it - which one is your favorite?). I typically prefer matte over shimmery shades, but I could definitely make an exception here. It's a limited edition palette, so it's a no-brainer to pick it up during a current sale. (By the way, have your heard that ColourPop is at Sephora now?? I am in love with these eyeshadow shades!)
