I fell in love with this skirt online and when I bought it, almost returned it. It seemed too overwhelming on my short frame. My mom convinced me to keep it and I'm so happy I did. It's so fun and different than anything I own. I came up with some rules on how to wear such a full midi skirt that helps flatter you:
1. Elongate your legs. There's nothing better than nude heels as they give the illusion of longer legs.
2. Balance out the upper half. In general, a good rule is if you wear something loose on bottom, go tighter on top (and vice versa). I wore a fitted tee shirt to balance out the volume on bottom.
3. Let the skirt do the talking. By this, I mean go simplistic and minimal with your accessories and patterns. I wore some dangly earrings, but that's it.
