How to Wear: OTK Boots and a Dress
If you want to hop onto the OTK boot and dress or skirt bandwagon, there's a few things to keep in mind first. It can be easy to completely mess up the look, but it can also be easy to do as well. What are your thoughts on this look?
- Don't go with knee-length dresses. Make sure that the dress is short enough to still show some skin, or you can even go with a midi or maxi length. It'll look like you're wearing weird shoe tights if you don't.
- Keep the dress or top layers looser (it can look a little too Pretty Woman if you know what I mean).
- Keep the heel height proportional to your outfit. Shorter hemlines should stick with shorter heels, while higher heels can go with longer hemlines. I like the mix-matched look of casual with heels, and sexy with flat boots.
- Try wearing the look with tights to bring the look into winter.
