From one era to the next (Introducing The Delicate Studio)
Hey there!
Phew, it sure has been a while hasn’t it?
To be quite honest, I would consider myself retired in the blogging business, even without “officially” ever saying it. When I was pregnant with Naomi, I found myself wanting to be on camera less and less, and especially so once she was born. The idea of going out taking outfit photos and keeping up this blog was overwhelming as new parents, and I tried to do a few things post-baby, but I never really found my groove again. I came to terms with the fact that my blogging days were behind me, and that’s okay! I loved it when I did it, but outgrew that part of myself.
With that said, I wanted to introduce you all to my new project: The Delicate Studio Photography.
Through the past few years I have grown an itch that I needed to try to scratch, and that was diving back into my love of photography. I wanted to be more behind the camera instead of in front of it. And I particularly wanted to stretch into boudoir photography, and the empowerment that comes with it. Boudoir gives women such a beautiful and powerful experience, and I get to create some gorgeous art with fellow women in the process!
The Delicate Studio has been years in the making, but we officially launched in 2020! This will be my exclusive full-time job come 2021, and I couldn’t be more excited! I truly feel like this job is what I meant to do, and it combines all of my talents and passions into one package. It’s a dream come true for me! I have a studio here in downtown Indianapolis that is stunning, and I am so excited to see what the future holds for me and my business!
Thank you so much for following along all these years, commenting, reading my ramblings, and enjoying this blog. It truly was a joy to create and a much-needed creative outlet while I worked in the corporate world. I’m so grateful for this blog, and it will stay up for the foreseeable future.
