If you haven’t heard of the brand Mango, I highly recommend you try them out. They’re a European brand that’s a bit of a mix between Zara and H&M. They have trendy pieces, but also great basics and at pretty good quality and cost.
I can’t believe I’m only just posting our gender announcement! We have known for a couple months now what we’re having and I think it makes it feel much more real. We already have a name picked out and have just finished up the registry too, building the anticipation and excitement even more!
In the whole "shoes vs purses" debate, I am firmly in the middle. I honestly don't think I could pick between the two! I love them so equally. I've already professed my love for these shoes here, so today I'll be lovin' on ring handle purses.
The trend of cropped jeans I just knew wouldn't look good on me. Until I found Madewell's updated denim - the love affair continues on. Their new denim has a few new variations - from short to tall to curvy to maternity. I snagged the short version of these cropped bootcut jeans and I am a little obsessed.
Because this is the first outfit post in a long while, you're getting two-for-one. A good basic t-shirt is sometimes an underestimated item of clothing, but when you find one, you never look back. Two of the hottest patterns this season are plaid and herringbone, particularly in outerwear. So of course I was excited because I bought this coat late last winter! I'm so excited that it's back this winter and in two other colors as well.
One of the biggest trends for fall is the bomber jacket. At first I didn't think it would be a trend I'd participate in this season. It adds a sporty, edgy vibe to an outfit, which is not usually my style. However, when I saw this jacket with side zips, I thought I'd try it out.
Seriously how cute is this shirt? It has little cacti on it, adding a touch of whimsy to an otherwise simple top
I realized recently that I've been stocking up on more occasion dresses and not those that are easy to throw on and go out and about in.
This weekend Nate and I decided to take some much needed "us" time.
I've been wearing some iteration of this outfit almost every day lately. Throw on some high waisted skinnies, flats, an oversized sweater, and a crossbody and I'm good to go.
Okay, so technically the color of this sweater is "dirty olive" but it sort of falls into the mustard category, right?
The idea of shirts that tie in the front isn't something new, but it's a huge trend this upcoming spring.
Happy Monday friends! It is officially my birthday week! I turn a quarter of a century old tomorrow (eek!).
Nate and I didn't take a lot of photos while on our Christmas vacation, mainly due to being on the beach or in the water all day long, but one thing we were excited to capture was photos of our trip to Mayan ruins!
