White and Cream for Spring
To me, the best part of spring is the change of colors not only in nature but also in fashion. While trees are budding, flowers are blooming, and it seems the sun is shining even more than usual, stores are bringing out the whites, pastels, and soft neutrals. It's such a nice change from all the blacks and monotone shades of winter. I grabbed this cream sweater during the Saks Friends and Family sale, and it is quite possibly the softest sweater I own. I would honestly sleep in it if I wasn't worried it could stretch out. I was a little bummed at how long the sleeves were on me, but I think it looks pretty intentional with them cuffed. It's definitely a keeper either way!
On a different note, I can tell you that I've already fallen in love with these heels by Steve Madden. They have a slightly lower heel than the ever-popular Carrson, which I actually prefer, to be honest. I can walk in 4 inch heels, but I'm a lot slower than I would be with shorter heels (shocker!). These are 3.25 inches and super super comfortable on top of that. The strap doesn't cut into your leg or ankle, and they fit pretty TTS as well. At the moment they come in 9 different colors, but I knew when I saw this wine color it was meant to be.
