My Black Friday Wish List
Thanksgiving and Black Friday seemed to sneak up on me this year! It honestly feels like last week was the start of October, yet here we are. Pre-Black Friday sales seem to be more and more popular lately, with all the emails I’ve been getting about them!! But I think I’ll hold out until the best of the best sales for what I want. There are a few pieces I’ve had my eye on that are on my wish list for the shopping holiday, all listed below! From stacking rings to colorblock midi dresses to wall mirrors, I want it all!! What’s on your shopping list?

Cozy Sweaters
Sweaters are one of my shopping weaknesses… Especially during my pregnancy, as oversized sweaters can be easily worn after as well! Growing up and living in the Midwest, sweaters are a key staple of any wardrobe here, so I have accumulated a great collection. But of course there’s always room for me! These sweaters here are cute, cozy, and most of them affordable! This black and white striped one and this alpaca one (so soft!) are high on my list!
Flowy Dresses
Another one of my weaknesses is a good dress! I’ve been really into flowy midi dresses lately, likely due to the bump, but they are flattering no matter what shape or size you might be (and most are work appropriate as well!). This striped shirtdress would be so flattering, and I’m obsessed with the gorgeous and unique print on this dress.
Travel Essentials
One of the things I tend to slack on buying is organizational travel accessories. It’s something I wish I had when I am packing, but never think of getting when I’m shopping. It’s never a good day when you have to pack your jewelry in a plastic baggie… haha. I love this compact jewelry travel organizer and have had my eye on this travel bag duo for a while. I know I’ll get great use out of both!
Timeless Shoes
Lately I’ve been trying to curate a really good shoe collection with thought-out pieces instead of random impulse buys. The shoes here would definitely be timeless and last years and years. Leopard may be very trendy right now, but it’s always a print that transcends, especially when done in a smaller accessory like these shoes. And a taupe bootie is something everyone needs in their wardrobe! It’ll go with everything!
Neutral Handbags
Okay… I think it’s safe to say that almost everything on this list is my weakness when it comes to shopping haha. Handbags are something I use every day so I know I get their worth out of them, and if it’s a neutral I can wear it with even more looks. I mentioned before (in this post) how I’ve had my eye on this beauty for a while, but another one I can’t stop thinking about is this slouchy cognac shoulder bag.
Statement Outerwear
Another staple in any Midwesterners wardrobe is a slew of outerwear. I like to have a mix of classic coats and statement pieces for whatever mood I happen to be in that day. This corduroy coat intrigues me and I’d love to try it out, and the tweed version of the ever-popular Daphne topcoat is even more gorgeous than the original!
Simple Jewelry
I used to be the girl way back in the day that couldn’t get enough jewelry - more was more! Nowadays, I like to keep my jewelry simple and classic, with quality materials and styles. I love the look of these small half hoop earrings, and this topaz stacking ring was honestly made for me. I hope it goes on sale soon as I’d snatch it right up!
For the Home
I always like to keep my eye out for quality pieces that I can get to spruce up my house, especially ones that are unique yet timeless. With Baby Z on the way, we’ve been slowly finishing up her nursery but I have been wanting a few more items to put the cherry on top of the room. This geometric mirror caught my eye a while ago and would be a stunning addition to the room, as well this ottoman pouf! Mama will definitely need a place to rest her feet.
