I'm not gonna lie, I'm loving this two-day workweek thing going on this week! Gives me some much needed sleeping time ;) But you know I wouldn't be missing these amazing Independence Day sales!
Welcome to my blog. Here I document my passion in style and beauty. I hope you have a nice stay!

I'm not gonna lie, I'm loving this two-day workweek thing going on this week! Gives me some much needed sleeping time ;) But you know I wouldn't be missing these amazing Independence Day sales!
Another holiday, another excuse for sales! (though, I'm not complaining!) Here you will find my favorite sales from this weekend from all of my favorite retailers. Plus, my picks from these sales!
Have you noticed the influx of midi dresses this spring like I have? Midi dresses are one of the big "it" items this season, and I am all on board!
I mentioned a few weeks ago on Instagram that I have finally gotten my first denim jacket EVER! For so long I just didn't think a denim jacket fit into my style and I wasn't able to find one that made me feel feminine, yet minimalist. Everlane has recently launched their new denim jacket, and I ordered it on the first day!
White denim is one of those items that can easily change the vibe of a look without doing much - you just change the color of an item!
In the whole "shoes vs purses" debate, I am firmly in the middle. I honestly don't think I could pick between the two! I love them so equally. I've already professed my love for these shoes here, so today I'll be lovin' on ring handle purses.
I'm pretty sure this is one of my first yellow dresses, and it's definitely the first yellow sequin dress! It's under $50 as well - a great price to try it but without fully investing.
It's been a bit since I've done home try-ons, so I wanted to share some recent items I've ordered!
The trend of cropped jeans I just knew wouldn't look good on me. Until I found Madewell's updated denim - the love affair continues on. Their new denim has a few new variations - from short to tall to curvy to maternity. I snagged the short version of these cropped bootcut jeans and I am a little obsessed.
There are a lot of Friends & Family sales going on this weekend, and a lot of sale on sales as well! Retailers are bringing out the spring styles and trying to get rid of the winter styles, so it's a great time to grab some boots or a coat on super sale! On top of that, you can snag some new styles for the warmer weather at the Friends and Family sales going on.
Because this is the first outfit post in a long while, you're getting two-for-one. A good basic t-shirt is sometimes an underestimated item of clothing, but when you find one, you never look back. They can be dressed up and down, are easy to wash, flatters everyone, and are easy on the wallet. It's the ultimate wardrobe staple.
I have always hated puffer coats. They make me look (and feel) like a marshmallow and quite honestly, I was always able to find warm enough coats that weren't puffers to keep cozy. Though, sometimes you just need the down, waterproof, snow coats. Luckily, I have noticed that there has been an influx of fashionable puffers coming out!
To celebrate the best posts of the year, I thought I'd do something different and instead of my favorites from 2017 (you can see all my favorites here), I thought I'd do yours! The most popular posts from each month are below, and one of them is actually the most popular post of all on the blog!
Merry Christmas! Here are some of the best after-Christmas sales this year. I have often found that these sales are better than Black Friday sales, and you get steeper discounts.
I have never liked over-the-knee boots. There, I said it! (seems sacrilegious in the blogging world, doesn't it?? haha) I don't hate them, but they are not something I consider a staple in my closet. I'd throw them into the trend bucket more than anything.
I bought this shirt on a whim during Cyber Week sales, and am shocked at how much I love it! I thought it'd be a cute pattern shirt to add into my work rotation, but it'll be worn a lot more frequently.
